Please describe how do you flash exactly the images (USB device, files and so on).

hi,
i just flash USB with ( vuultimo4k_multi_usb_rev18770-ddt ) and I just add rootfs.tar to the corresponding image like this:

rootfs2.tar ------------------) openpli
rootfs3.tar -----------------) openatv
rootfs4.tar ------------------) openvision.

thank's

Do you have really all files at the usb device how described here? -> VU+ MultiBoot
Don't replace the kernel files at the usb devices, you must use the kernel from neutrino for each partition.
While flashing all 4 images you must see at the OLED the flashing messages of kernel part X and also root part X. This is important.

yes, I haven't changed anything, I just added the three( rootfs ) that correspond to the 3 respective images

rootfs2.tar ------------------) openpli
rootfs3.tar -----------------) openatv
rootfs4.tar ------------------) openvision.

Then it must working. You can also replace the rootfs1 with a e2-root for testing. If this also not working, there is something wrong.
Please show me the vuultimo4k-directory with all files at the usb device. Use at Windows command line the dir command for the listing, because I will see the real filesizes.

Hmm, the files sizes of the original files seems to be OK. I hope you have wait a few minutes at the first boot of e2, because e2 needs more time.

Do you have a serial cable (RJ12 to RS232 or USB) for the ultimo4k? Maybe there is more to see why its not working.

You have sayd Neutrino is working at Part 1. You can also flash the other images again for the other partitions manually via Telnet with ofgwrite.

ofgwrite -mX /path_to_kernel_autoX.bin_and_rootfsX.tar.bz2

X = Partition number

Example:
ofgwrite -m2 /hdd/oatv/

now everything is ok,
you just had to install the ENIGMA2 pluginSTB-STARTUP-1.03, and put.

Code: Alles auswählen

/ dev / mmcblk0p1 / auto boot defaults 1 1
on etc / fstab.
is the turn, I was misled by the image menu e2 (multiboot image selector) which does not work.

thanks to BPanther.

Yes, this is the only way for switching to other partitions because E2 has not really a Multiboot for VU+.
