Please write exactly which files you have used at the USB device and how do you flash.

I used the USB version by formatting USB pen and turning on the decoder by holding down the front button but it remains with the word boot

Use a small USB device with Fat32, not vfat or exfat. Sure you have created the directory h7 ? Inside h7 you should have the files disk.img and imageversion. For flashing remove all other USB devices or it will also fail.

Yes exactly what you describe I did I tried both the multi and flash version but it doesn't work.
P.S. sorry for the incorrect form of English but I am translating from the web

The english is ok, i'm from germany and mine is not good. ;)

Important is the disk.img and imageversion. The other files are only for offline updates if online update not working. You should also try other USB devices if you have. You can also verify the files with files from e2 images. Should have the same names. Try to flash a e2 image. If this working overwrite the files with my image files. If you can not flash a e2 then you have an other problem.

Rootfs.tar.bz2 and kernel.bin are not needed. You should display the real filenames and not hide known extensions. This is most a problem for finding problems.

But test also a e2 image to flash. I think the problem is the USB device.
