Because these devices are outdated
No developer available
It was only you who made it so far

This was only a quick test with the datas from the git and some changes who I'm think they works - but they don't. Sorry, but I can't change something "blind" because I don't know whats wrong at the kernel. :(
You have working kernels but nobody knows the config? Very strange, but other hand, here the datas are also very old and I don't know who has these put into the git.

In your bootargs :

Code: Alles auswählen

Kernel command line: console=ttyAS0,115200 root=/dev/sda2/root.img rootfstype=jffs2 rw nwhwconf=$nwhwnet init=/bin/devinit coprocessor_mem=4m@0x40000000,4m@0x40400000 coprocessor_mem=4m@0x40000000,4m@0x40400000 printk=1 console_loglevel=7 rootdelay=5 stmmaceth=ethaddr:
you want as root : /dev/sda2/root.img rootfstype=jffs2
I don´t know if it is right, and the kernel is able to mount an image file.....
Here later in kernel log:

Code: Alles auswählen

Waiting 5sec before mounting root device...
usb 1-1: new high speed USB device using stm-ehci and address 2
usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
hub 1-1:1.0: USB hub found
hub 1-1:1.0: 2 ports detected
usb 1-1.2: new high speed USB device using stm-ehci and address 3
usb 1-1.2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
scsi0 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
Root-NFS: No NFS server available, giving up.
VFS: Unable to mount root fs via NFS, trying floppy.
VFS: Cannot open root device "sda2/root.img" or unknown-block(2,0)
the kernel recognize a mass storage device ( USB pen ??), but the scsi subsystem don´t recognize partitions like sda1, sda2.... and so on.
Perhaps you must increase the value in bootargs : rootdelay=5 to a higher one,
or may be better using the bootarg command : rootwait , then the kernel waits for mounting until the USB device is ready.

I think the debug kernel shows the problem:

Code: Alles auswählen

Kernel command line: console=ttyAS0,115200 root=/dev/sda2/root.img rootfstype=jffs2 rw nwhwconf=$nwhwnet init=/bin/devinit coprocessor_mem=4m@0x40000000,4m@0x40400000 coprocessor_mem=4m@0x40000000,4m@0x40400000 printk=1 console_loglevel=7 rootdelay=5 stmmaceth=ethaddr:
Root is ext3 and not jffs2 because you don't really flash - root will only mountet. So I think the cmdline from bootloader is wrong.

Now HDMU Kernelkonfig from here used: https://github.com/HDMU/meta-sh4/blob/d ... /defconfig
I think this will also not work - but attached. If this also not working, I give up.

EDIT: Removed, not working...

But this is not a 7429! If all 3 similar, why then different kernel configs? Very strange devices...

EDIT: Removed, not working.

Ok, also not working. You can try it by yourself with the git. Instead make neutrino-mp use make kernel, then only the kernel will be created at tufsbox/cdkroot. I give up. Sorry... :(

You should ask "Audioniek" for an image. I have no such device, and we have already considered removing all 7xxx from the GIT, as obviously no working images are possible. In addition, there is only one flash script for the 7810a in IRD format (real flash image). Therefore, the 7xxx has never been fully implemented in the GIT.
