Zgemma H7S How to return startup_1 (recovery image)

Hi all;

I have a zgemma h7s receiver.

For example; I am on startup_2,3,4
It sometimes stucks on boot. I want to install new image on startup_2,3,4.
So How to return to recovery image(startup_1) via telnet or similar things?

It's the same for the H7 how the HD51/BRE/E4HD.
- Just power off, hold the power button and insert power cable. This should switch to startup 1.
- If telnet works at 2/3/4 but not neutrino/e2/whatever, you can copy /boot/STARTUP_1 to /boot/STARTUP ( cp /boot/STARTUP_1 /boot/STARTUP ) and then type reboot or init 6.

I am pushing in front of the box like recovery image method but No reaction.
I know HD51 start up method but Not worked in this box.

There are file I attached under /boot

I changed your command as reverse from STARTUP to STARTUP_1
Step by step;

cp /boot/STARTUP /boot/STARTUP_1

init 6

Box starts up in which startup_x.

cp /boot/STARTUP /boot/STARTUP_1 is WRONG! STARTUP is the file for the bootloader, not the other. All STARTUP_X files must be unchanged, they are the defaults for the STARTUP file and used by stb-startup from neutrino.

Your STARTUP files have strange names. Normal are: STARTUP (main, used from bootloader), STARTUP_2, STARTUP_3 and STARTUP_4 (and the 4 for Boxmode 12). Your files have other names and they not supported.
BTW: My image don't use the STARTUP_X files, only the STARTUP is needed. But the normal layout is needed.

But, this is not the problem, because STARTUP is not changed if you use POWER ON Switch on power connect (or reboot), because temp start to 1. If this not working, maybe you use a old bootloader or the bootloader does not have a real support the "new layout" (how E4HDUltra). If actual bootloader, then flash normal layout to test this.

I have downloaded startup files from /boot path to pc that i attached.

I use bootloader v1.07-r35. Is there any bootloader newer?

I cant do anything when i have problem with 2nd,3th and 4th start image

But that's not the "normal" filenames. Seems the openPLI make its own.

As I say'd, just flash the normal partitions layout and try then the emergency boot. If this works, the bootloader has a problem with the "new layout".

For example;
Machine works In 3rd boot and I misloaded any plugin and then box stuck on "boot"
I manually want to turn on 1st image then Power button(i attached it) does not work unlike hd51.

Unfortunately;
I reinstall emergency image to 1st boot.

There is no real "emergency image". All 4 images are the same, just normal images. The bootloader booting the first image if you use the power-on button.

And remember: For normal layout you must use a neutrino usb image, using the disk.img. All other using the "new layout". You can also check the layout with:
