Can I get a image of a neutrino?
My device has a dream 820 HD
I was able to play image Dream 8000 on my 820
But the image does not completely capture the interest
If you can help me get a complete image of my device

I don't have this box and I do not build blind a image. Also may not possible to build a DM820 image, because the full kernel sources/patches missing - same for DM800.

But your changes seems to be working except SIG/SNR, but they are only cosmetic, channels are found. The tuner configuration is strange with tuner A as Master and B as Independed - why? Is A Master then B Twin or Loop. Or set both to Independed if single signal cables.

Hmm... Seems this box uses a mmcblk* flash device (kernel config) and no NFI, complete different to DM800X. This may take a lot of time to change the GIT for build a "working" image. And I need some more informations (partions, how to flash, usb possible and so on). I have current late shift, so I can't change this the next days/weeks.

EDIT: The link has not the full kernel patches, some are missing. They was only avail at sources.dreamboxupdate.com, but the "new" server (dreamboxupdate.com/sources) is incomplete and has no kernel patches.

I have build a kernel for testing, see attachment. But the dm820 ist strange, because the kernel is only valid at the rootfs.tar.bz2 in /boot and twice as gz and bin?! The kernel.bin (flash image from OATV) is empty ?!
I don't understand this box...

I have seen the original image at http://dreamboxupdate.com/opendreambox/ ... /index.php and they don't have a vmlinuz.gz*, only the uncompressed kernel vmlinuz.bin* found at /boot. And the flash file is a tar.xz. Means, the attached kernel should be working. Please check if modules loading.

But I think the file vmlinux.gz-rescue-3.4-r1-dm820-20200715.bin is the normal vmlinuz.gz, only renamed. But for what is this file? Is the name variable e.g. as vmlinux.gz-rescue-3.4-dm820-20240512.bin ? Hmm...

And what does

This is a complete bootloader that has nothing to do with the image boot
It is downloaded to the device individually and sent to tmp
Then use the following commands

Hmm, strange box. Where is the kernel stored? And what is in partition 2 ("data")? The box has 4 GB Flash, but only 1 GB used for root. No extra space for kernel. Or is the kernel at a "old flash type" how /dev/mtdX?
What is the output of

cat /proc/mtd

The hd51 has nothing.
