Bpanter, if i understand right the translation , for USB-Neutrino ALWAYS use the online update and never the panel update function. no?

No, there a 2 ways:

1. Online Update. Extras -> Online/Offline -> Check new version
2. Offline Update. Extras -> Online/Offline -> Offline Update. Here you must change the downloaded filenames to Update.md5/tar.gz

if somebody can test this. on the latest revision #2674 USB-BA with os-cam emu:
- after half day in standy the image is frozen on the last frame before stand-by and only can hear sound if on a FTA channel or nothing on a scrambled channel(probabily oscam dvbapi dies). rebooting the reciever is the only option, as neutrino seems frozen. alwyas happen after half a day of standby or so.

Try the option for Emu stop at standby.

hmmm doesn't that stop the emu completly??? not really an good option for sharing since only watch TV 2-3 hours maximum/day.

have you activated the log options in os?

@apoklyps3: Yes, all emus are stopped with this option. I know that oscam blocked the video/audio devices - also if you try to kill oscam. You can see this also at restart neutrino with the extras menu. If no "ufs910-picture", oscam blocked the devices. Because this and some other trouble I don't use oscam, too instable for me. A "light version" (without webif and so on) maybe a little bit better...

Hallo BPanther! Ich habe mir heute das USB/BA-Neutrino (STM24 - rev2674) auf den Stick gemacht, Bis jetzt funktioniert es wunderbar, nur werden meine beiden Smargos nicht erkannt bzw nur einer. Ich habe das BPanther 1344 Image im Flash und andere E2 Images auf Mini Stick bis jetzt wurden immer beide Smargos (SKY & HD+) gelesen. Gestern habe ich das PKT HAARP V2 und auch noch das AAF SUMMER 2011 auf den Stick gemacht, auch bei diesen (stm24)-Images geht nur ein Smargo und auch die interne Festplatte nicht. Liegt das an der stm24 Sache? Ich habe mal mit Telnet auf die Box zugegriffen mit "cat /proc/bus/usb/devices"-Befehl und da kommt bei allen 3 Images immer "No such file or directory" . Woran kann es liegen das nur ein Smargo gelesen wird.Im Oscam.log kommt auch immer "2011/09/14 19:13:49 2AF514C8 r ERROR opening device /dev/ttyUSB1
2011/09/14 19:13:49 2AF514C8 r Cannot open device: /dev/ttyUSB1". Die Sky Karte läuft unter ttyUSB0 und geht auch, nur halt die HD+ nicht. MfG

Das die interne HDD unter stm24 nicht funktioniert ist ja klar bzw. bekannt. Aber das nur ein Smargo funktioniert kenne ich jedoch noch nicht, da ja die Devices vorhanden sein sollten.

Ist aber so, wirklich. Bei Deinem Image und auch bei den anderen beiden. Gehe doch mal mit Telnet auf die BoX oder laufen bei Dir 2 Smargos? MfG

Ich habe keine Smargos oder andere USB-Reader, daher kann ich sowas leider nicht testen.

Das bei den STM24 Versionen mit "cat /proc/bus/usb/devices" keine Ausgabe kommt ist mir auch schon aufgefallen.
Mit FTP kann man auch sehen da gibt es auch nichts.
Das liegt möglicherweise daran, weil im Git in der Kernel Config für STM24 das steht:# CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS is not set
im gegensatz zur STM22 Version: CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS=y

Allerdings gibt es in der STM24 einen neuen Parameter : CONFIG_USB_DEVICE_CLASS=y

Eventuell mal an anderer Stelle suchen?

Ich kann es ja mal mit CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS=y bauen, evtl. sieht man dann wieder was bei cat /proc/bus/usb/devices. Ob das allerdings das eigentliche Problem behebt ist fraglich.
