Then should the 128x64 version work.

I think I have not read right. If you mean you can not receive S2X channels, then you are right. The old kernel has no S2X support, kernel >=3.14 needed.

No, this is not my intention, but I mean that he is reading
Any frequency in the xml text at the end of the multi-stream code
To the DVB-S2X standard, even if the frequency is DVB-S
I don't know how to translate it to you any further

It is possible. I am making a patch compatible with 3.14 for 3.4
This will not help, the problem is with the hardware

I'm afraid this. There's no S2X Patch for the old kernel - also not used at E2 - the OE-GIT has this patch also not. And there are more missing at the kernel, not only the S2X Patch. If you have a look at the FEC and so on you will see, there is more missing (based for the S2X Patch), DVB_API < 5.7. The DM9x0 uses a newer kernel (3.14) and there is a patch.
If you build your own kernel you must it flash with "flash-kernel /path/filename", because the old DM820/DM7080 uses a hidden partition for the kernel. If the kernel not working go to rescue and do the same with a working kernel.

It is also possible to change the partition sizes. So I changed root to 512 MB and kernel to 8 MB. The rest is used for data. The kernel size can only changed for the DM900/DM920, the DM820/DM7080 have hidden kernel partitions.

EDIT: There is a problem with the old single tuner BCM4505. Seems the kernel modules are not correct/full loaded. There are the /proc/stb/frontend/X/* infos missing, directory empty. I don't know why, but I know, it's a kernel problem. Same result if I use the defconfig from the OE GIT.

Kernel fixed, tuner BCM4505 - no problem. :)
New images for DM820 & DM7080 uploaded.

HDMI-Input is also possible, but the source must have 720p50 so I don't activate this function.

Also the DM900 & DM920 has a update for max. 16 tuner.

All images for DM820, DM7080, DM900 and DM920 build again (rev20745).
But one problem can't currently fixed: The FBC tuner (BCM45308X) does not have any SIG value but works without problems.

EDIT: E2 has also no SIG, maybe a driver problem.

This is a batch of patches I made
For linux kernel 3.4
The patches were used on oe-alliance-core
When building, it does not tell me that the added patches have been implemented
So what is the reason?
Do I need to modify defconfig as well?
Thank you

You have added these to the oe? The original oe GIT does not have these patches.

No, but you may rebuild the cross because the header files are changed.

There's an other problem. S2X is for SH4 and MIPS deactivated because the old kernels. If I reactivate this for MIPS, then will the DM8000 and all VU-MIPS not build. There are more changes needed...

I try now some test builds (no upload) for dm820 and then dm8000. If this works so I can add the changes for kernel and neutrino to the GIT.

And yes, the buildsys should show all added patches.

New image for dm820 image uploaded to Experimentell with your S2X and tuner patches. Don't forget: You have to use also the kernel of the image or it won't work.
