I've some problem in recording HD channels (Sky IT).
I can record and play successfully SD channels (both free and crypted) and HD free channel .

If I try to record a Sky IT HD channel, the recording is successful, but when I try to play the movie, the box just hang with a black screen (sometime i can ear audio for 5 seconds but no video)

If I later copy the movie file to my PC, it works correctly (at least the two i tried)

i tried with almost any image version from september 2011 till now

by doing some tests, i think it can be related to the audio streams (thought i'm not sure). all SkyIt Hd channels have AC3 or DD audio tracks. (i try to remove "record alternative audio stream" in the options but nothing changed )

Hmm, I have this sometimes only with some "strange" AVI Files, not with record files. If I try to stop playing, after a few seconds the complete box will hang. Do you have test it with the last "experimental version" (3468)?

i've just tried another thing, if i record an HD channel from an Enigma2 image (got 1 on usb stick) it is recorded and played correctly from E2.
if i boot to Neutrino flash, the file start playing, I can ear audio but no video. then hangs

Very strange, such problems I don't have here. Older recordings from E2 (SkyDE HD) works, also the actual recordings.
You can also try the stm24 version, maybe the newer p191 can play the files better.

Well try this:
First play a record which runs OK ( eg. an SD record ) for a few seconds.
Then try to play your record wich hangs.
Probably also use the movieplayer. There you must use in the file list the blue button for unfiltering to see the *.ts files.

You can create a xml file, then you can play the files "normal" with the play key at the remote control.

just tried:
- record SD channel
- record HD channel
- play SD record, OK
- play HD record, only audio for 5 sec then hang

tried also with fileplay, same behavior.

tomorrow i'll try to flash STM24

tried with stm24 and stm24_209

this time it seems to work!

i can record HD channel, and then play them. it takes just some time to start (both hd and sd records) sometime 3 seconds, some time 8 o 9 but then it starts the playback and works!

i'll try the STM24 for some day, and if it is stable i'm done!

i tried stm24 in december and it didn't worked.

just a question, what are the differences between stm24 and stm24_209? which should I use?
